Policies

Cancellation Policies: If you must cancel or reschedule your dogs appointment, I kindly ask you to give at least 24 hours notice. Any appointment that is not cancelled within 24 hours will be charged a 50% late cancelation fee that will be due at time of check-out at the next appointment.

No-Show Policies: Unlike a cancellation, a No-Show is not showing up to your appointment without any prior cancellation notice.

First missed appointment will incur a 50% fee.
Second missed appointment will incur a 100% fee.
A third missed appointment will require a 100% fee, plus a 50% deposit to reschedule.
After four missed appointments, services will be discontinued.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Inclement Weather Policies: If your appointment has to be cancelled due to reasonable weather on either end, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. I do my best to give as much notice as I can if I have to cancel.

Arrivals & Late Arrivals: All appointments are given a 15 minute grace period once the time of the appointment has started. Any appointments not arrived after this 15 minute window will be charged as a No-Show.

If you know you are going to be late, please contact me right away. I do my best to accommodate everyone and sometimes I can still honor the appointment after the 15 minutes. There will be a $20 late fee attached to the rest of the cost of the groom.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to appointment time.

Handling Fee: A handling fee will be added to the cost of the groom if the dogs behavior sets me behind schedule or they pose a danger. The fees can vary depending on size and severity. This can include aggression, sedation, old age, etc.

Vaccinations: All clients will need to present copies of current vet records and rabies certificates. All vaccines must be up to date. Rabies and Distemper are required in order to book an appointment. Please make sure all documents are uploaded to your client portal. Vaccine reminders will automatically be sent out when your pet is due, or if the system is missing a required vaccine.

De-Matting Policy: The process of de-matting a dog is often painful and stressful for the pet. For this reason, any matting that cannot be safely and comfortably brushed out will be shaved. I will not subject a dog to unnecessary discomfort for cosmetic purposes.

De-matting requires a pre-shave on a dirty coat, which dulls grooming tools and significantly increases service time. As a result, an additional de-matting fee will be applied based on the severity and extent of the matting.
